OMAHA, NE – July 1, 2022.
Cubby’s is a partner with KETV and the Salvation Army, sponsoring the Back-to-School Backpack program. The campaign will run through August 7, 2022 and encourages the community to donate school supplies for school children.
Donations of pens and pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks, scissors, glue, and other school supplies will be donated to Gothenburg schools for student use in the 2022/2023 school year. Barrels to collect donated supplies will be picked by the Salvation Army staff and Omaha Firefighters and are located in 11 local Cubby’s stores.

Other Cubby’s stores outside of the Omaha metro area will also participate in the program. School supplies will be collected in the stores and donated directly to local school districts.
Cubby’s believes in giving back to the local communities they serve with other fundraising efforts, including The Raise Some Dough program, donating $1 for every large Godfather’s Pizza sold. Cubby’s also offers an annual scholarship program.
The Back-to-School Backpack campaign is another way to support local students and schools, and Cubby’s customers have proven a shared commitment to supporting local schools.
